This year, we are again reaching out to families in our community and church family with Thanksgiving food boxes. We are connecting with families at Barnes School, the Hispanic community in our neighborhood, and people in our own church family who would be blessed with a box of food. From Nov. 3rd until November 24th, you can drop off food* (unexpired, non-perishables) in the lobby or designate a monetary contribution by marking it “Thanksgiving Boxes”. There are more details below about how you can volunteer. Questions? Email Fabi at the address above.
Suggested Shopping Items:
Canned Goods (Yams, Cranberry Sauce, Vegetables, chili, soup, tuna fish, gravy, etc.), rice, peanut butter, jelly, sugar, pre-packaged snacks, refried beans, dried beans, pancake mix, instant mashed potatoes, pasta, and pasta sauce.
*Unfortunately, we are unable to accept homemade or open items.
How do I register a family to receive a box?
You may register a family between services at the lobby table beginning Sunday, November 3rd. Your last chance to register a family will be Sunday, November 17th. Please bring the family’s full name, number of adults (12 years or older), number of children (11 years or younger), their full address, and phone number. Please don't register your own family. The food boxes will be available for you to pick up and deliver on Tuesday, November 26th, from 3:30 to 6:30 P.M.
How else can I get involved and help?
- Donate non-perishable, unexpired food (see details above)
- Give a monetary contribution by dropping it in the offering and designate it for "Thanksgiving Boxes."
- Devote some time to help us as we build the boxes:

Nov. 25 | 4 - 7PM | Assemble food boxes
Nov. 26 | 3:30 - 6:30PM | Loading cars and delivery
