Nursery (Infants—2 year-olds)

We view ministry to this age group as foundational. It helps build a child's trust in a Heavenly Father who loves them. We come in early and we stay late to create a safe, caring environment. Every experience for this age group is designed to communicate God's love for children. Beginning at age one, we start to partner with families to help them know, love, and serve Jesus together.

We also understand how hard it can be to trust a little piece of your heart to the care of others. So, we vet leaders carefully, train them well, and have a safe and simple way to contact you if your child needs you during a service. If it's helpful, we can arrange for you to meet our leaders and see our ministry environments up close and personal. If you're planning your first visit with us, you'll find helpful information about check-in here.

Praying for your precious one along with the church on a Sunday morning is more than just a nice photo op. It represents a commitment from the church to partner with your family as you guide your child's faith journey. Because Jesus changes lives, we want to help your family know, love, and serve Him. Your baby's dedication is a great first step. If you're not familiar with baby dedications, they're pretty simple. Pastor Randy invites you and your child to the platform and leads the congregation in a prayer, blessing your child and family. Prior to scheduling your child's dedication, you get to connect with their pastor who will equip you, and explain everything in detail. If you're interested in having your child dedicated, contact the appropriate age-level pastor listed below.

Early Childhood (3 year-olds—Kindergarten)

Three Year-Olds

The three year-old year is a critical time in your child's life. They're learning all the basics. About their bodies, their colors, their letters, their numbers and God. That's why we focus on three basic truths: God made YOU. God loves YOU. God is with YOU. We help your child begin to understand who God has revealed Himself to be in His Word. And we help you help them, introducing a parent resource entitled the Homefront Weekly to help your family connect during the week with all your child is learning on Sundays. If you're planning your first visit with us, you'll find helpful information about check-in here.

Fours—K

Once your child enters CM for 4 year-olds through Kindergarten, it's a whole new world. They begin to meet in small groups with a trained facilitator. This shepherd leads them through a series of Wonder Questions that help children learn who God is and how He wants to relate to them. We also introduce The Big God Story, which will be part of their faith journey all the way through 5th grade. The Homefront Weekly resource for this age group helps families embrace a daily routine called the Faith 5. It's a simple way to connect at home during the week with your child and what they're learning. If you're planning your first visit with us, you'll find helpful information about check-in here.

Elementary (1st—5th Grade)

1st and 2nd Grade

Learning who God is by studying the stories in His Word helps children at this age understand what type of story God is writing—and wants to write—in their life. It helps them define their purpose and discover meaning in Him. It shines a light on all He wants to do in their life. Each week children connect with their small group shepherd before gathering as a large group to worship. After worshipping together, they interact with a Bible lesson presented by a creative and engaging team of teachers. Then they're invited back into their small groups to celebrate, respond, and process what they're learning about God. And they learn how it all fits in their lives, through sibling struggles, friend frustrations, chore lists, and even floating goldfish. These struggles are real for 1st and 2nd graders. Having people in their lives who care, who love them, and want to help them through these moments by pointing them to a loving God is very powerful. If you're planning your first visit with us, you'll find helpful information about check-in here.

Because we partner with parents to help their family know, love, ands serve Jesus, we publish this Homefront Weekly resource to help your family connect during the week with all your child is learning on Sundays.

3rd – 5th Grade

Third, fourth, and fifth graders are in a transitional stage of faith development. They are ready, willing, and able to gain a greater understanding of who God’s is, and that He loves them. They are also desperately seeking answers to some very thoughtful faith questions. They've begun to notice not everyone knows Jesus or believes in God and they want the tools to understand His Word and continue walking with Him. Those are the tools we focus on! We reveal the big story of God's redemptive plan for them, their family, and friends. We pair them up with leaders who will be a consistent, prayerful, and positive influence in their life. Each Sunday we meet as a large group for worship and teaching, then break out into our small groups for response and more personal conversations. If you're planning your first visit with us, you'll find helpful information about check-in here.

Because we partner with parents to help their family know, love, ands serve Jesus, we publish this Homefront Weekly resource to help your family connect during the week with all your child is learning on Sundays.

Youth (6th Grade—High School)

6th Grade

Meeting the unique needs of this impulsive group of marvelous adventure-seeking kids is a unique job. Which is why we work with 6th graders on their own during this pivotal time. We talk heart, soul, body, and mind. They're firing on all cylinders as they rev their engines for adolescence, so this is not the time to take conversation with them lightly. Our team of volunteers focus more on the condition of the kids hearts than the condition of their homework, housework, or sports scores. You also can count on us to partner with you. We work together to secure your child's identity and give them the the meaning they need from their maker.

Jr High

Kids this age are often tempted by the instant gratification and selfie mindset of their peers. They start wanting to be “liked” and noticed. They crave a sense of validation and belonging. In contrast to these culture currents, we show them how to follow Jesus instead of the crowd. We offer challenging teaching from the Word that relates to their everyday struggles. We share God's encouraging presence with them, so they learn that they can call on him anytime, wherever they are. We also just really like to have fun together. Our leaders work overtime to help them see that being a follower of Jesus does not mean you miss out. In fact, just the opposite.

High School

High School is filled with tensions. Kids want independence and parents want to hold them tighter more than ever. And God can feel hard to find some days behind all the busyness that assaults the average high schooler. We want our High School ministry to be a place kids can feel accepted and free to be themselves, let loose, and have some fun. Our leaders are young adults whose youthful maturity is easy for kids to relate to. Within that relationship, we share worship and fellowship designed to bring God's Word alive. We believe that becoming a community invested in God's promises provides the courage, confidence and clarity they need to enter their adult years whole-heartedly following Jesus.
