Sheep and Goats

In Matthew 25, Jesus describes what faithful discipleship looks like as we wait for His return. Genuine faith becomes visible in the shape of our lives, a natural and tangible extension of our beliefs. Jesus identifies Himself with the hungry, thirsty, stranger, naked, sick, and imprisoned, so our love for him is expressed through compassionate action toward people who cannot repay us. This is in stark contrast to a faith preoccupied with honor, power, and cultural influence. Instead, Jesus continually calls us toward the margins. He is clear: a saving faith is living faith. It moves us outward in love toward “the least of these.”
