Who Sinned?

As He heals the man born blind, Jesus confronts more physical blindness with a strange remedy that miraculously restores the man’s sight. He also exposes the distorted ways we see God, suffering, and people. While the disciples ask who is to blame, Jesus moves toward the suffering man with compassion. Meanwhile, the Pharisees cling to their faulty understanding of sin, human affliction, and Sabbath. Jesus reveals a Father whose love moves toward misery and the margins. The healed man also gradually receives a reborn spiritual sight, ultimately worshiping Jesus.
