Week 2: Hope in His Nearness
Smitchell   -

Jesus’ birth announces a God who draws near. He is not a distant ruler but a present, loving Savior who steps into our world and our stories. John 1:14 declares that the Word became flesh, reminding us that God’s nearness is not ceremonial or guarded, but personal and transformative. Throughout Scripture, when God comes near, people are overwhelmed, humbled, healed, moved, or invited into worship. They are changed! His presence exposes truth, extends mercy, and calls us into His story. In a world marked by loneliness and distraction, this week’s message invites us to notice Jesus’ nearness and respond with openness, attentiveness, and trust.
