Early in chapter one of his letter to the Colossians, the Apostle Paul writes about a deep, wide, and glorious rescue. It is full of God’s love, the work of the Holy Spirit, and all the beauty of the Gospel. This rescue promises the new reality of a new human community delivered from darkness into the Kingdom of God’s Son. And it’s all about Jesus.
