God begins talking about a legacy in Genesis 3 when he promises to address the problem of sin. He continues that conversation with the Patriarchs — Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He furthers his commitment to a beautiful legacy through the nation of Israel.

And all of those threads draw together in Jesus and his followers. Christ is the object and fulfillment of God’s legacy. But what about ours?. What about a legacy that we help build that sits within God’s but is distinctly our own? In this message, Pastor Bo looks at three key components of one’s legacy: love, pain, and shame.
