A community of creatives that covers one another, within B4Church and beyond.
We use music, film and art to make beautiful things that honor God, that bring hope for the city and that cultivate connection throughout our world.

SHELTER WORSHIP NIGHTS

These nights are set aside spaces to seek God collectively, listen to His voice and be still in His presence. They will be an organic, free-flowing worship experience that begins with a shared meal. Each month, dinner is at 5:30pm and worship begins at 6:30pm.

Join us and bring a friend or two!

ABOUT US

Shelter is a creative community birthed within B4Church, with a mission to be a spiritual and relational covering for the artists within and beyond our community. Creating is the most natural way that we, as humans, resonate with God. It is the outward expression of our souls. Shelter is both a hub and an avenue for local artists to find community and see how their gifts can impact the world.

Psalm 91:1-2 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

The word “Shelter” is less of a name and more of a mission. As Christ invites us to dwell and trust in Him as a shelter and a refuge, we want the people of our community and city to feel a safe sense of self as they create and connect with God and people.

We place a high value on artistic expression and believe that the expression of the church can impact the city, while the expression of the city should impact the church. Everyone—Jesus people or not—can resonate with music and art. They are common languages that often break down walls of religion.

Shelter aims to create unique beauty through music, film and art, inviting partnerships with local artists and musicians. We aim to resource our own church community with creative opportunities, as well as to reach out through the city to see who needs encouragement or help in their creative experiences.
