If you want to help those in recovery, contact Lisa Swenson at the email above. Please know before you inquire that you’ll need to be screened and pass a background check.

Ever wonder what B4 leaders read? People like Pastor Randy, Pastor Keith, or those great volunteers who serve your children? Or, what about Pastor Adrienne? What are they reading to encourage their faith and personal growth? Well, now you don’t have to wonder. The Family Discipleship Center (FDC) has launched On the Same Page, a virtual book club. You don’t have to meet in person. But along with others, you read featured books each month. Every title is recommended by a church staffer or a volunteer ministry leader. Stop by the FDC to learn more. We’re right off the main courtyard in the CM Building’s bottom floor. Or just email us at the address above.

Why get water baptized?
Jesus instructed his followers to go make disciples and to baptize them. Jesus was baptized before he started his public ministry. In the book of Acts, Luke recounts story after story where those who came to faith were soon baptized in water. We believe that’s why anyone who follows Jesus should be water baptized after they come to faith in him.
What is it and what happens?
It’s a simple public confession of faith in and commitment to Jesus. You get into a waist-deep tank of warm water with a pastor, usually at church during the worship part of the service. While the congregation sings, the pastor asks you if you’ve trusted Jesus as savior and want to follow him as Lord. You say, “yes.” And the pastor immerses you in the water.
Do I have to do this to be saved?
Nope. Only faith in Jesus saves you, but if you want to follow him, and obeying one of his commands is a priority for you, then you probably want to be water baptized.
What if I was baptized (christened) as a child?
That’s great. That means your parents, and those closest to you wanted something spiritually significant for you. One of the ways you can honor that is to be water baptized as an adult after coming to faith in Jesus.
How do I start the process?
It’s easy. First, You’ll also need to fill out the form linked below. Or you can go on the B4 Church app, tap “SIGN UP” to fill out the same form. You can get our app wherever you get your others, for iPhone or Android.
What happens then?
After you fill out the form, we’ll get in touch with you. We’ll help you get signed up, share your faith story with us, and meet with you during a short gathering you attend with others. We’ll help you understand all the details about water baptism.
