Missio Dei (For the City Weekend)

Even better, God invites us, all of us, to join us in his mission. We get to play a part in the grand story of God’s redemptive work. He did not create his Mission for his Church. Instead, he created a Church for his Mission, the Missio Dei. Everything we, the Church, do that resists evil and promotes human flourishing in the name of Jesus is part of that mission. Proclaiming Jesus’ death and Resurrection until he returns is part of that mission. These are at the heart of our For the City Initiative.
